This is such a pretty, face framing shape!  I've been longing to try the "new Dior" shape out of a bunt straw mat and it was really fun to make.  The straw is a pistachio and ivory check weave and it is edged in ivory grosgrain and a touch of horsehair.  The feather spray is a springy ivory and ecru mix and I couldn't resist the addition of the butterfly.  There is a tiny beaded bee hiding like a secret in the back of the hat.  The headsize is 22.5" but this can be adjusted before shipping.
